Caroline and I had our wedding on April 13th, 2007, here in Abilene.  Thankfully most of her family was able to be here for the wedding and we got to spend some good time with them.  The wedding and the reception went very well, we were delighted that so many came to see us announce our union.

We had a nice honeymoon in San Antonio although it was short.  We went to SeaWorld, a first for both of us, as well as a romantic dinner on the Riverwalk and a moonlight boat tour.  We got nice tans and tried to get splashed by dolphins.  It is a nice memory for us, the first of many trips together, God willing.

Caroline is now with me!  She arrived safely on the evening of December 26th.  Slow processing at immigration caused her to come into Abilene one flight later than expected, and her luggage arrived intact one flight after Caroline.

Her first day was rough due to jetlag but she is already doing better.  We’ve been busy making various arrangements for her.

We thank everyone who has followed our story for your thoughts and prayers this past year.  God willing the rest of Caroline’s family will be able to immigrate soon.
